Description The dry sparkling wine "Martini" Prosecco is made from Glera (Prosecco) grapes, which are grown in the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. An icon of Italian winemaking, the Martini company has long been engaged in Prosecco production in Veneto. In August 2009, the wine classification system was upgraded from IGT to DOC. Now Prosecco is the name of a wine created only in two regions of Italy — Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia from high-quality grapes, which is controlled at the government level. In connection with such changes, Martini winemaker Franco Brezza said: "We have always been proud that Martini Prosecco is produced in Veneto. The newly awarded DOC status truly confirms the quality of this expertly crafted product, and we are thrilled to have our work recognized."
In addition to the DOC classification, the Prosecco Martini introduced some flavor updates, such as smooth texture and a complex bouquet with unique notes of peach and green apple and an unforgettable spicy aftertaste. To fully enjoy the unique fresh and light taste of this wonderful wine, it is recommended to cool it to 6-8 ° C.

The history of "Martini" began in the 19th century. In 1847, a company for the production of wines and liqueurs was founded in the town of Pessione, in the Piedmont region. One of the partners was the commercial agent Alessandro Martini. Luigi Rossi, an herb expert and winemaker, researched various flavors and found a great combination for vermouth. Luigi Rossi and Alessandro Martini became the owners of the company, and their vermouth was named "martini". Their heirs led the company to become one of the most famous manufacturers of vermouth. A large number of different medals proves the high merits of the drink. Even the King of Piedmont, Umberto I, allowed the company to place its coat of arms on the label — a white cross on a red background. At the end of the twentieth century, the Martini and Rossi company became the owner of several well-known alcohol companies: Offli, Otar, Benedictine Liquor. In 1992, she joined the Bacardi Industrial Group. More than 200 million bottles of Martinis are sold worldwide every year.
